03Composition and information on ingredients
Type of product
Mixture: a polymer dispersion in water with mineral filler and grit.
Formulation
The formulation is a trade secret of the company. This section lists only the ingredients that are classified as hazardous.
Polymers
From a leading German supplier. The supplier states that the polymers are safe and do not irritate.
Hazardous ingredients
None that is classified as hazardous, on the basis of the statement of the supplier of the polymers.
Preservative
Typical for water-based products of this kind (published sheets): a very small quantity of preservative keeps the product good in the bucket.
Crystalline silica (quartz)
CAS number 14808-60-7. The grit and the filler are minerals. Their quartz content is not tested. In the wet product the grit is bound and makes no dust.
04First-aid measures
Eyes
Rinse immediately with much clean water for at least 15 minutes with the eyelids open. Remove contact lenses if this is easy. Get medical advice if the irritation continues.
Skin
Remove clothing that is wet with the product. Wash the skin with soap and water before the product dries. Get medical advice if redness or a rash occurs.
Breathing
Move the person to fresh air. Get medical advice if the person feels unwell.

Flash point
Not applicable (typical for water-based products of this kind).
Extinguishing media
Use the media that are correct for the fire around the product: water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide.
Special hazards
The dry film and the plastic bucket can burn. They give smoke, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Advice for fire-fighters
Wear the usual protective clothing and breathing apparatus. Cool closed buckets with water spray.
06Accidental release measures
Personal precautions
Wear the protection given in section 8. Keep people away from the wet area: the floor is slippery.
Containment
Stop the leak if this is safe. Hold the liquid back with sand, earth or another material that absorbs.
Clean-up
Collect the material with a shovel into a container that closes. Wash the area with water after the bulk is removed. Collect the wash water where this is possible.
Environment
Do not let the product run into drains, water or soil.
07Handling and storage
