Add the powder to clean water and mix until smooth. For SIG-MR the ratio is 1 part water to 1.25 parts plaster.
- Use clean water and clean tools. Set plaster left in the pan makes the next mix set faster.
- Mix only what the crew can apply in one go.
- Do not add water to a mix that has started to set.
